Traditional total knee replacement (TKR) relied heavily on the surgeon’s experience and tactile feedback, making it challenging to achieve optimal precision. As a result, a larger portion of the knee joint often had to be removed, which could impact postoperative flexibility and increase pain levels.
With the advancement of robot-assisted knee replacement surgery using the ROSA® Knee system, surgeons can now preoperatively simulate joint balance, predict the optimal bone resection range, and refine the surgical plan before making any incisions.
